Rachael Vorberg-Rugh co-author of 'Building Co-operation' will give a talk and sign copies of the book which will be on sale.

Linda Gomila from the Co-operative Group will be available to answer questions on Widening Opportunities for Women (WOW).

Milnsbridge Co-operative Society takeover Red and Green Club

The Red and Green Club is an exciting new project being developed by the Milnsbridge Co-operative Society (MSC). They are renting the Milnsbridge Socialist Club at 42 Bankwell Road, Milnsbridge HD3 4LU on a short-term basis, with the intention of buying the building IF they can raise funds to do it. Over the next few months they are running a range of events.

Co-operative Womens Challenge 2020

Co-operative Womens Challenge 2020

The Co-operative Group Northern Region Membership Team has been working hard on the Womens Challenge. In particular the Widening Opportunities for Women Challenge which wants to widen participation in the Co-operative Movement. The Co-operative Group has committed itself to ensuring 33% of area committees are made up of women by 2014 rising to 50% by 2016.
The Northern Membersip Team have a mentoring programme for 20 women and are running recruit events on:
