Mondragon and Yorkshire Co-operative Link - Launch event

The Yorkshire and Humber Co-operative Party is launching the link of Mondragon Co-operatives from the Basque region and Yorkshire. We have a lot to learn from each other. There are speakers who have visited the Mondragon co-operative and we hope to have one of the main directors from Mondragon to speak. This is the start of a link that we hope will see the continued development of co-operatives in our region and real international co-operation.

The event is on the 19th November at 2pm at Aizlewood Mills in Sheffield, Place are free but you need to book here

Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber Conference
Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber Conference is taking place on Friday 2nd December in Hull with a range of Speakers from National Social Enteprises, Mutuals, Local Authorities, Health Trusts and Senior Civil Servants. Funding Central
Funding Central is a new website funded by the Cabinet Office and includes over 1,000 contracting and loan finance opportunities, practical information on the procurement process and a Partner Zone to find potential joint tendering collaborators.

Employment Law, Health and Safety and Pensions Seminar
Co-operatives Yorkshire and the Humber working with a range of partners have arranged a 1 day seminar in Barnsley on the 28th November for co-operatives to find out more about aspects of law relating to employment, health and safety and pensions. To book visit www.lawseminar.co.uk

Co-operatives Yorkshire and the Humber Enhanced Benefits Package
